It seems almost impossible that Friday night is already upon us. The week has been so eventful I have yet to have a moment to breath let alone blog. Some highlights include: volunteering with a local beach clean up crew, enjoying a fabulous fall day by going on a 3mile walk, sipping margaritas on a rooftop that overlooks all of San Francisco, exploring City of Lights bookstore for the first time (amazing!!), catching up on the TV, and even enjoying a baseball game with Brandon and friends (GO GIANTS). In addition to my busy personal schedule work has me running on all 9 cylinders. Normally I this is not something I would complain about, as I tend to thrive in a busy environment, but a recent injury has slowed me down and I am finding it hard to get everything done.
The other night, while looking for our car after the Giants game, I slipped and fell off a curb. I am incredibly clumsy so the fact that I fell off a curb is not surprising. I normally land safely on both feet or at the very least am able to pop right back up...normally. This time I rolled my ankle and bruised the crap out of my knee. So for the past few days I have been walking around with a brace and limp and doing everything I can to get the swelling to go down. Fingers crossed that all will be well soon (and by soon I mean tomorrow) so I can attend a free music festival in the city this weekend.
Hope everyone has a safe and fabulous weekend!
