Recently I went on a crazy camera purchasing binge. I am now the proud owner of three different Polaroid cameras, a Holga 120N, and a Yashica Mat-124. Below are some of my first polaroids, the first two taken with my Polaroid 660 the last two with my Spectra. If you would like to see more check out my tumblr The Barbary Coast. Hope everyone has had a wonderful weekend!!

ReplyDeleteI wonder where do you shop for your cameras and where do you get in your head which cameras you want? Just curious... :)

With regards to where I purchase my cameras I've had a lot of luck on ebay and etsy. The second part of your question is trickier to answer... It all started with a simple point and shoot camera and took off from there. My lust for a new camera comes from spending too many hours on the internet and looking at pretty photos (which then results in to camera envy). Once I get it in my mind to buy a new camera I do a bit of research, set a budget, and go on a hunt for a good deal :) By the way I just sent a few cameras your way so be on the look out for the UPS guy!
DeleteA FEW?! Woohhooo! I just did a little happy dance. :} Thank you so much, Brandi - I am SO excited to try them out! heeeheee.
DeleteI see where I've missed it now - I like to look at pretty photos too, but haven't bothered until recently to care about the notes given on what kind of cameras were used. Very good. I will plan some temptation and envy for myself. AHAhaha! I haven't used film in... *thinks* ...wow, about 6 years. I had to give up the Nikon F2 I was using at the time. :( But I am so excited to be getting back into it. Photography geekery reminds me so much of the darkroom in college - SO much fun! It is a creative outlet that I miss and want to plug back into. Into which I want to plug back in? I want to plug something non-prepositional... :0)
thanks B!
xoxo
